I have known Vicki Allen-Jones for nearly 30 years.   Recently she commented that she has been to just about every Sydney Royal since 1968.  In her younger days I can remember her in the winner’s circle competing in hack classes and then moving on to showing stud horses up to and including Sydney Royal level.  Later on Vicki set her sights on barrel racing at rodeos. She was regularly at the pay window at the end of the day with her feisty, grey mare ‘Deckers Misty Morn’.  Vicki has now set her sights on running the Karingal Training Stables.  If this venture is anything like the last 40 years of her life then Karingal will be turning out many successful equestrians.

Just a note to say what a great day the kids, myself and Mick had on Sunday.  The event was so well organised and we were made to feel part of your lovely community.  Everyone was so encouraging and enthusiastic.

 

The ponies that the girls rode were beautiful.  Everything about the place is great and we look forward to having a long friendship and association with you and your wonderful riding school.

Emma represented Mary Immaculate on Saturday 5th at the Camden inter schools Equestrian Competition. Emma did both her self and her school proud in the way she conducted herself. Emma received 1st place for Year 4 Junior Primary and received the Reserve Champion for the Junior Primary Division.
